This place is great. I noticed one day walking down Hudson Street that there appeared to be a chocolate factory. What I didn’t know was that there was also a beautiful store/café inside as well.
Dave bought me some of their chocolates for Valentine’s Day and they were delicious with interesting flavors. Ever since he told me about the café, I have been dying to try it.
Lyla and I stopped in yesterday and I loved it. It’s great because it’s casual in that you can just walk up to the counter and order chocolate, hot chocolate, freshly baked pain au chocolat, etc., and seat yourself (which is key when I’m with Lyla). However, even though it’s casual in that way, the store is beautiful and elegant. It currently has beautiful Easter bunnies on display. There is beautiful handmade chocolate everywhere. It’s really magical. I highly recommend checking it out.
Lyla and I just shared a chocolate chip cookie yesterday since we were alone, but I will definitely be going back to try the hot chocolate.
Here is their website to get a feel for the place or you can order online (hint hint).
