for everyone
Category:Movies
Genre: Mystery & Suspense
This movie is about a famous mystery writer named Sarah Morton (played by Charlotte Rampling). Sarah has writers block and appears very unhappy and needs some R&R, so her publisher, John (played by Charles Dance) suggests she use his vacation home in France. Soon after arriving, John’s promiscuous daughter Julie (played by Ludivine Sagnier) shows up at the house. Julie is a party girl who goes out every night and brings home a different guy with her. Sarah finds Julie annoying and fascinating at the same time.

I thought this movie was really good. On the surface it was an interesting story and the characters intrigued me. The movie leaves a lot of questions unanswered. I feel like I need to watch the movie again because I didn’t completely understand how the story ended, but I like that in a movie.

If anybody else sees this movie, I’d love to hear your opinion on the movie and what you think really happened.

I saw this movie a couple weeks ago. I thought I knew what was going on the through most of the movie and then... no idea. I think I need to see it again to look for clues. This is one of the few movies that really stumped me. I definitely need to see it again. Sorry I can't be of help. Perhaps someone else has an idea of what it all means.
