for everyone
Category:Movies
Genre: Drama
I liked this movie. It's a dark look at the lives of four unhappy families living in suburbia. It's probably not a film for everyone since it's a bit depressing, but I thought the performances were great, especially Patricia Clarkson. You don't know until the very end exactly how each of their lives are connected. The film has a similar style to Magnolia if you like that type of movie.

It's based on the book by A.M Homes if you're a fan. I, personally really like her books.

Netflix Synopsis: Glenn Close, Jessica Campbell, Patricia Clarkson, Joshua Jackson and Moira Kelly star in this ethereal film. Vignettes connect to form a whole, revealing the unhappy, mindless or flailing existence of four suburban families who must all find a way to reconnect with one another.
