Ingredients:
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 tbsps margarine or butter
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 -1/2 cups milk
1 (16 oz.) pkg of frozen chopped broccoli
8 oz. (2 cups) shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
In large saucepan over medium heat, cook onion in margarine until tender. Stir in flour, basil and salt. Gradually stir in milk. Add broccoli; cook over medium heat until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally. Add cheese; cook until cheese is melted; stirring constantly. 5 (1-1/4 cup) servings.
