St. Louis - 1992

These pictures were taken the summer of 1991 in my hometown of St. Louis. This was the summer before I moved to Washington DC and was pre-digital camera so the quality isn't so great. I wanted to share them with some of my friends that never knew me when I lived in St. Louis. It's a beautiful city and I miss the city but mostly my family and friends. I doubt I'll ever live there again because I love my life in NYC and I love not having a car AND my husband will never leave Manhattan. :-)However, if I did ever move there again, I would have to move on my cousin Debbie's street in Webster Groves. She lives in my fantasy neighborhood!

Neat picture. Were they gathered around because someone was feeding them? Recently in Myrtle Beach I tried to feed fish and it was so weird! There were ducks around and they usually swam and gobbled up the food quickly so the fish would stop and open their mouths and hope that some food landed in them!

Those pictures are great. Since I am from St. Louis I have to agree, it is a beautiful city. Even though I live in the county now, I grew up in the city and I loved it then.

I have been there and it is a beautiful city. I spent a lot of time in this artsy little area near the water, I don't remember what it was called. ?

Plus there was gambling on the Riverboat :)

that could be it. Lots of hippy people (bohemian types) and cool things to buy, music in the streets...

i don't think we were feeding them...but I could be wrong it was over 10 years ago. i think there were just a LOT of fish in one place!!

This is a great shot of the arch. Love the way you framed it with the trees... I have a bunch of photos as well of St Louis, I'll try to post them soon.

So the Gateway Arch is the good place to shoot an aerial picture. Never been there before but glad to know another good place to be visited.
Hope I coould be there soon.
